Elderberries have long been known for their immunity-boosting superpowers. And while there are many ways to get elderberries into your diet, none are more fun than these gummy bears!
Gummy bear mold(s)
Medicine dropper (to fill the molds)
2 to 3 tbsp. coconut oil to grease the mold(s)
1 cup elderberry syrup
1⁄2 cup filtered water
1⁄2 tbsp. agar powder or gelatin
2 tbsp. honey
Place some coconut oil on a paper towel and grease the gummy molds lightly.
Combine the elderberry syrup, water, and agar powder in a pot and bring to a boil; reduce the heat to low and let simmer for 5 minutes.
Stir continuously until the agar is completely dissolved. Remove from the heat and mix in the honey.
Use the medicine dropper to fill the gummy molds with the elderberry mixture.
Refrigerate for 3 hours until completely set. Keep in a jar in the fridge and eat within 60 days.
