We all love a Gordon Ramsay recipe (perhaps we may be a little biased!), but this Korean Street Toast currently trending on TikTok really blew our minds. The flavor combos will have the whole family hooked–trust us!

There’s a flavor sensation for every mood and palate–buttery, savory, crunchy, and even a bit salty and sweet. Plus, it’s easy to adjust the condiments for your individual taste choices.

Ingredients

1/3 cup white cabbage thinly shredded

1/4 carrot thinly shredded

1/4 small onion thinly sliced

1 green onion sliced

1 egg
-
Pinch salt & pepper

2 tbsp butter
-
1 tsp sugar
-
1 tsp ketchup
-
1 tsp mayo
-
1 slice deli ham
-
1 cheddar cheese slice
-
2 slices white sandwich bread
Directions
Beat egg in a large bowl and add cabbage, carrot, onion, green onion, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Melt 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium heat, add 2 slices of bread and gently brown on both sides, remove, sprinkle with 1/2 tbsp of sugar and set aside.
- Melt the remaining butter in the same skillet and add the egg and veggie mixture, shaping into a rectangle roughly the same size as your bread. Cook for 2-3 mins on each side and cut in half.
- Place cheese and ham slice on one half and top with the remaining half.
- Spread ketchup on 1 slice of toasted bread and mayo on the other half.
- Place the cooked egg mixture between the 2 slices, cut in half and serve.
