In the summer, there are few more refreshing cocktails than an ice cold margarita. Pair it with juicy, summer-fresh watermelon, jalapeno, and fresh-squeezed lime juice and you have the trifecta for heat, sweet, and sour!
Of course, this spicy watermelon margarita recipe can be made non-alcoholic, and will taste just as great! Just substitute some fresh sour mix (organic if you can find it...it really does make a difference).
Being from the South, watermelon is a summertime staple. It's almost always at any family gathering, party, or if it's just a nice, sunny Sunday afternoon for no particular reason. It's a treat that tastes so amazing when it's in season.
We hope you enjoy this spicy watermelon margarita recipe! This recipe serves two, but you can always multiply make it in batches -- perfect for parties.
