Ingredients
-
6 cups fresh peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced
-
1 cup all-purpose flour
-
1 cup granulated sugar
-
1 teaspoon baking powder
-
1/2 teaspoon salt
-
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
-
1/2 cup Busch Light Peach Beer
-
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
-
Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream (optional, for serving)
Directions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced peaches, 1/2 cup of sugar, Busch Light Peach beer, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon. Toss gently to coat the peaches evenly. Set aside and allow the flavors to meld while you prepare the crust.
Grease a baking dish or a cast-iron skillet with butter or cooking spray. Pour the peach mixture into the prepared dish, spreading it out evenly.
Take small handfuls of the dough mixture and flatten them slightly. Place the flattened dough pieces on top of the peaches, covering the surface as much as possible. Leave some gaps for the peaches to peek through.
Bake the cobbler in the preheated oven for about 40 to 45 minutes, or until the crust turns golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve the peach cobbler warm, with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream if desired.
